Sukanya’s talent and experience while working on the other side of the camera for such a long time may have added value to her ability to create magic on camera. Sukanya goes on clicking the moment her eyes find something interesting for she believes in moments and in creating moments too.
Sukanya finds this world very beautiful and that is clearly portrayed in her stunning photography. Her photography has two distinct perspectives.
The first one is the Artiste in Sukanya who enables her to see the extraordinary even in something that is mundane to millions of people. One such example is her photograph titled ‘Calcutta by the river Ganges’. Who thought Calcutta could look so majestic!
Another example is the photograph titled “The shields that move”. Sukanya with her childlike exuberance has brought out simplicity at its best in this photo.
The second perspective is the Philosophy of Life that comes out of Sukanya through her lenses. An example of the same can be seen in her piece “तीन तत्व” or in another piece called “Towards Eternity”.
